Lainey Sandberg is originally from Aitkin, MN. She graduated from Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education with emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities in 2005. Lainey then taught in special education with grades K-12th grade. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science degree in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2019. Lainey most recently had an incredible experience teaching at ATLAS (Area Transition Learning and Skills) with students ages 18-21. ATLAS is located in Brainerd, MN and serves all the member districts. Currently, Lainey is one of the K-12 Special Education Coordinators serving Aitkin, Crosby, Crosslake Charter School, Pequot Lakes, Pillager, Pillager Area Charter School (PACS), and Pine-River Backus school districts.
