Jeffrey Lee is a Special Education Coordinator with the Paul Bunyan Education Cooperative (PBEC). He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Central Methodist University where he majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and his Master’s degree from St. Cloud State University in Special Education. Jeffrey also earned a post-Master’s graduate certificate in Educational Administration and Leadership from St. Cloud State University.
Prior to working for PBEC, Jeffrey was a Special Education Teacher in a Setting IV program and a Lead Special Education Teacher with the Brainerd Public School District starting in 2014. Before his career in education, he was a School-based Mental Health Practitioner, a Program Director of a residential group home, and a Correctional Officer with the Missouri Department of Corrections. These positions give him unique perspectives on evidence-based practices, characteristics of behaviors, management of behaviors, and social/emotional development.
Jeffrey is from North Dakota but has lived in the Brainerd Lakes area since 2010. His wife, Jill, is a Music Teacher in the Brainerd Public School District. The two enjoy spending time on the area lakes with their two daughters and traveling to scuba diving whenever possible.
