Amanda is the Student Records Specialist for PBEC. A Moorhead Spud alum, she first started her studies at Minnesota State University-Moorhead before completing her Bachelors of Science degree in Economics and Finance at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. Returning to Minnesota, she began in the private sector but found a passion for public schools and funding. She served as the Finance Specialist for Edina Public Schools for five years, then as the District Office Secretary for Crosby-Ironton Schools for the past year.

She and her husband, Jacob, moved to the Brainerd Lakes area in 2025. The outdoor activities and smaller community were highly desirable for raising their little boy, Jonah. In her free time, Amanda likes to explore the area with her family, walk, love on her two kitties, and slowly update her family’s first house.
