School Psychologist at Paul Bunyan Education Cooperative for 19+ years. MN license in School Psychology, Elementary Education and Coaching. Born and raised in Neche, ND, which is a small farming community in the northeastern corner of ND. Attended Moorhead State University for undergraduate and graduate education. Started in education in 1992 in Moorhead, MN as an educational assistant and was eventually hired as a second grade enrichment teacher. While in Fargo/Moorhead also worked as a program specialist for a Fargo psychiatric center that served children, adolescents and adults. Moved to Brainerd in the fall of 1999 to begin career as a school psychologist. While in Brainerd, worked several summers at the Grace Unit (inpatient psychiatric unit) at St.Josephs Hospital and have also mentored several children as part of the Youth Mentor program through Social Services. Interests include spending time with family and friends, mentoring children/adolescents, coaching, being active (basketball, roller blading, volleyball, hiking, mountain biking, golf, etc.), riding four-wheeler and also woodworking.
