School districts have a responsibility to identify students with disabilities who may need special education services. Next, they will need a comprehensive special education evaluation to determine if they are eligible for services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Join us for this workshop to learn what to expect from the evaluation process and work through a sample evaluation plan. We will help you create a list of your concerns and a better understanding of how to ensure they are addressed in your child’s evaluation with a special emphasis on mental health.
